These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Giv'er ("Giv'er", "we", "us"), a platform that connects customers who need rides and errands with local drivers in Nova Scotia. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Giv'er is a technology platform that helps customers and independent drivers find and coordinate rides and errands. Giv'er is not a transportation carrier and does not employ drivers. Drivers are independent and responsible for their own vehicles, licensing, and insurance.
Giv'er does not process or handle payments between customers and drivers. Fares are agreed between the customer and driver and paid directly by cash or e-transfer. Giv'er is not a party to that payment and is not responsible for collecting, holding, or refunding it.
You agree not to misuse the service, including: harassing or endangering other users, providing false information, attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, or using the service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Be respectful and use good judgment. Giv'er may provide tools to report issues and flag disputes, but Giv'er does not guarantee the conduct of any user. Interactions and transactions are between customers and drivers.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giv'er is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of customers or drivers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
